Roman Pacific Island Campaign
« on: January 18, 2016, 06:04:07 pm »
Following an aparent declaration of war by the Yamakami The Roman Underwater Warfare Command tasks 30 Type-III U-boats to cut all supplies entering the Empire Of Yamakami's islands in the Atlantic (ships are allowed to leave), the U-boats are advised to move at no more than 3.5 Knots while in hostile waters. these boats are supplemented by patrols of F.W. 19's (50 tasked to the Area, groups of two) which where designed for the roll of harassing small ships, any cargo vessel attempting to enter will be given three warnings and 5 minutes to turn around, before the aircraft uses its Gau-8 and 102 mm gun to obliterate it. U-Boats only give one warning and three minutes to any ship, U-Boats will pick up any surving crew if they do sink a ship.

When an Island is cut from oil it looses the ability to use industrialized farming, this on top of the fact that no new food is shipped in. The islands will either capitulate or starve, we stress that ships can leave, civilians can flee, but those that stay will not receive supply by anyone.

Due to the blockade, we will be sending 14 C-17s to provide food for the islands. It is a simple request to not fire on the C-17s, because they are only providing food, not military supplies.

Any c-17'S approaching the island will be shot down by Anti Air missile's on the U-Boats, unless they are to evacuate civilians and not to bring supplies.

The Roman ships will continue their blockade, and send 20 FA-13 aircraft to tighten it. Either the islands will surrender together or fall alone.

Unless you chose to ignore this...
We look forward to your cooperation
Also, before we move any further, we would like to ask you something that confuses me? We do not have any islands in the Atlantic, unless you are referring to the South Pacific Mandate which is, of course, found in the Pacific.

The Velucian Imperial Dominion requests permission to assist in the war by offering naval support in breaking the Roman blockade (im thinking he means the islands in the pacific). Ilyushin Il-76s will provide supplies to the islands, including food and ammunition, and if they are shot down then there shall be an official declaration of war.

Intill the political situation changes, the islands are an active war zone, if any planes transporting any kind of supplies does not heed warning it will be considered a threat to the operation and be shot down.

Much appreciated V. Dominion but not all of our citizens were evacuated due to the sudden Celatoro destruction of their air force. We ask that you help us evacuate our citizens for now. We will send CIVILIAN ships to the islands to continue the evacuation, we trust that the R. Republic will not cause them any harm lest an official war will ensue.
We also ask that V. Dominion be updated of the current situation by reading the newspaper thread inviting R. Republic officials. (Just to be safe).
For now, since the diplomatic talks are to be held, we ask that R. Republic not to take any further actions in our mandates and that sending some aircrafts and u boats will very much help.

Belka, a neutral nation in this situation, can send aerial transport for the civilians if this would be allowed by the Greater Roman Republic.

Civilians are allowed to be transported out, but not in, nor will supplies be allowed in.
