He stood there for a minute, thinking.

"As you wish, Princess." He walked back but stopped and whispered to her.

"I will have my gun ready if things get out of hand," He then continued and stopped behind her, putting his hand in his coat pocket to feel his pistol, ready to whip it out at any moment.

Jean stares at the door irritably, willing it to open.

Weiss opens the door, glaring at the Frenchman behind the doorframe. "Didn't I tell you to stay in the suite?" She asks, her Resting ****-Face coming out.

Jean gets unreasonably happy for a moment, believing he had willed the door open. Then he see an unhappy Weiss standing behind it. He blinks several times, trying to recall what she had said.

"I don't believe so..." He mumbles slowly. "I cannot remember. Did you?"

Wilhelm put down the phone and looked at Robert.

Robert was staring calmly at the Frenchman, resting his arm but keeping his grip firm on his gun, his finger resting on the trigger.

"Indeed I did." Weiss said, crossing her arms. "And I'm not even going to ask about the shattered glass on the floor behind you."

She shakes her head. "Could you do me a favor and go back to your room? I'm working out an alliance."

Jean laughs. "You are funny." He manages. He pokes her in the cheek. "So adorable." He walks by her, a stupid grin locked on his face.

Weiss looks infuriated, consciously stopping herself from losing her temper. "Stop!" She says, grabbing him by the collar of his shirt.

Jean simply shrugs out of his unbuttoned shirt, leaving Weiss holding his uniform tunic. Jean strides unsteadily up to Robert and pauses in front of him. Then suddenly, he throws both arms around him and lifts him off the ground. "I apologize." He mumbles, holding Robert and gently swaying him back and forth.

Robert pats him on the back with his free hand. He took his other hand out of his coat pocket and hugged him firmly.

"Your apology has been accepted," He huffed out, surprised he was off the ground.

"I... I don't even know." Weiss said, tossing his tunic back into the hallway. "If I breathalyzed you right now, your BAC would be "yes"." Weiss muttered to herself, walking over. "I'm glad that amends have been made."

Jean's focus turns and he simply drops Robert. He spins and grabs Weiss in a similar manner. "And thank you mademoiselle. For letting me in, to make amends. For hosting me in your beautiful country." Jean is sobbing now. "I was not wanting to be enemies with my Bavarian friends!" He simply stands there sobbing, holding Weiss up in the air in a hug.

Weiss's expression is so dumbfounded that she simply sputters out random noises, attempting to formulate an effective sentence. "If this is another one of Father's damned tests..." She mutters to herself.

Jean gently sets Weiss on the ground. He grabs her arms and kisses her on the forehead. "Mademoiselle." He says, nodding. He spins. "Where is the little prince?" He demands. "I have more apologies to be giving."
