Bertold, a man in his earlier 40's, wearing a suit not unlike a businessman's, begins to talk. "There are two Germanies, did you know that? There are the Prussian Germans, and the Roman Germans. Sometimes we do not get along, sometimes we even fight, wars to see who can rule over another river, another village, in Germany. But when one of us threatened, by any nation, and especially by an alliance half way across the world, then it is our duty to unite. I have not lifted the navel blockade because it would be seen, if these talks where to end badly, as the biggest strategic blunder in military history, if you had complete control, as i do, of part of my territory, would you just give it up during these talks? or would you, like any other reasonable man, hold on to such a strong bargaining chip? now as for peace, if you are to completely distance yourself, and make strides to distance your alliance, from Prussia's operations in the middle east, if then and only then, can this blockade be lifted."
