32nd National Commonwealth Elections

Today, the 32nd National Election of the Western Commonwealth was launched. The people of the Commonwealth will be electing 490 members of the National Assembly, more than 205 seats than the last. This election will take place on the 20th of January.

Here are the candidates and their parties:

Democratic Party (D)

Frank Underwood
Stances:
Political Spectrum: Centre and Centre-left
Global Warming: real, implement renewable energy program
Relations: strong relationship with neighbours
Gridlock: have a traffic system
Earthquakes: Have a reformed response system
Economical Stance: lower taxes for poor
Guns: allow for checked civilians
Minimum wage: keep at same

Reform Republicans (R)

Marco Rubio
Stances:
Political Spectrum: Right
Global Warming: real
Gridlock: give incentives for infrastructure companies for helping out
Earthquakes: good as it is now
Relations: With our Allies
Economical Stance: lower all taxes
Guns: allow for everyone
Minimum wage: lower to 5 CWD

Social Democatic Party (SD)

Ujjal Donsanjh
Stances:
Political Spectrum: Left
Global Warming: real
Relations: With everyone
Gridlock: promote public transportation
Earthquakes: Have a reformed response system, and make it a priority
Economical Stance: lower taxes for poor and increase for rich
Guns: make illegal
Minimum wage: raise to 15 CWD

12th: National Debate
14th: Town Hall Debate
16th: Vice Chancellor's debate
18th: Local issues Debate
20th: Election Day!

With thw addition of Yukon, the Total number of seats in the National Assembly is increased to 490, increase of 1 seat

And later, The polls will be closed at 9:00pm PST [9:00pm est irl]

Exit poll results suggest a Democratic minority government may happen.
