Syrian War
« on: January 18, 2016, 02:31:17 pm »
Secretary of State Joel Sparkes takes the stage.
"It has come to our attention, that ever since 2010, there has been a bloody civil war going on in Syria. We have decided to take action, on the side of rebels. We will be deploying our Rangers, all 700, to Syria, where they will train, and fight with the rebels. If any nation wishes to keep democracy a main power in the world, I suggest you do the same."
Sincerely,
Prime Minister Andrew Fest
Leader of The United Kingdom of Celatoro
Port Moresby, Celatoro

The Reichstag releases an official statement regarding the Caleteran government's backing of the rebel forces:

"It is an interesting time we live in where a democratically-elected leader will be overthrown in the name of democracy. The Leadership of Syria has had the entire western world declare an effective war on it for one singular reason: Their doing away with the petro-dollar. It truly is a dark time when nations are so heavily dependent on the international banks that they are willing to march on a democratic government that wishes to break free from the shackles of globalist ideology. The local government of Syria has the full support of the Prussian Empire and her people."
Kaiser Manfred Von Richtofen,
Kaiser der Deutsches Kaiserreich
