The Capitaine speaks to his men. "Ha! It worked! Do you hear that men? Help is on the way!"

He replies to the Captain of the Larket the only way he can. He shouts. "I would wait, Velucian." He spits the word, as if it were poison. "We sit at your mercy, but I will not beg. Do what you will with us." His men nod numbly in support.

(I would prefer Francs, if you don't mind.)
(Norway.)

*Reinforcements*
The subs race through the Barents Sea as the cruisers just enter it. They are far ahead, as they are far faster than the surface ships.

"Well," chuckled the captain "I'm not one for procrastination. I hope you can swim." One of the ships Palash CIWS's spins up and opens fire in the lifeboat. It tears apart the thin hull and it begins to sink quickly. 7 sailors were caught in that barrage.

The Alliance sailors huddle together in the water. Capitaine Toutain shouts from the water. "Barbarians and criminals! That is all you are! It would be an insult to real sailors to count you among their ranks!"

I'd say 10 minutes for the hypothermia, 20 for the frostbite, and please, hold on for a miricle. It makes this more fun. No ship could get from where your help is now to where we are in under 30 minutes, so I think this is it." The captain laughs harshly.

Toutaine laughs from the water. "Yes, laugh from your ship at us. Your mistreatment of us will result in nothing nut destruction. The three ships you describe are likely cruisers. One alone is far more powerful than your three frigates could ever hope to be. I will happily sit here and die, so that you may speed along your own destruction."

"Aye!" His crew shouts next to him, many of them laughing along. Within minutes, the laughing dies down as the cold sets in.

The subs enter the Kara Sea. The cruisers continue on through the Barents Sea.

The Palash CIWS spins up again and begins to pick off the sailors huddled together. Another 28 are killed by this, leaving 22 left, not including the capitaine.

"Now beg for your lives!" Shouts the captain as he moves into the observation deck, pistol in hand.

(I like to give my men character - this ones a bit of a sadist  :))

The ships continue on.

A pair of Tu-160s take off from Calais. The quickly climb to altitude and accelerate. Even with a considerable head start, the aircraft will reach the frigate's last known location long before the ships do.

[yes I would, I have an AWACS and jets in the area. Lifeboats give off a signal, and we found it interesting that your ship fired just before one of the signals went off line, the SU-34's are going to take a closer look, but should you not fire, we won't either]

The Alliance sailors shiver and float in the water, not ale to do much else.

After a few moments, Capitaine Toutain swallows his pride and yells up. "I would surrender myself and my men, Captain. You have beaten us. Enough have been lost to my pride. Please, fish us from the water."

The Alliance sailors look anywhere but at their Capitaine. They had served under him for a long time, and the significance of his surrender was not lost on them.

Belkan SU-34's arrive at the site of the distress call from the lifeboats, they can see a Velucian ship a bit away. They state they will not attack, if the ship does not fire at them either.

The frigates acknowledged this and refrain from attacking the planes.

Larket thinks for a moment, as if contemplating on whether to allow the surrender, but concedes to his better judgement and he calms down from his apparent blood lust.

"Very well Capitaine, I accept your surrender. I can see how difficult that was and so, against my personal desires, I will bring you aboard our vessel."

The captain returns to the bridge and moments later, 4 dingys drop into the water, each with 3 Imperial guards present (ooc - In case you try a takeover) and speed towards the shivering mass of men. Each picks up three men and Toutain gets on the fourth. When they reach the command frigate, they can see that it's called the Vesimire. When they board the Vesimire, they are taken to the bridge under armed guard and are met by Captain Larket
