« on: January 13, 2016, 08:21:56 pm »

Pictured below is where oil is believed to be and where ships will focus their exploration efforts.

The oil exploration ships find a oil rich deposit 102km SouthWest of the original searching location and are establishing a drill for a offshore oil platform.

4 large oil derricks are set up 12 nautical miles from the shores of Principe. They are due to begin drilling the next morning.

As the representative of Velucians only oil company, Imperial Oil, I speak for my company and my nation when i request the offer of purchase for one of your four new oil platforms. You will be compensated in full the cost of the rig , along with a 25% increase, and we will provide you thereafter with 20% of the total raw income from any oil extracted. We wish you will consider this agreement to allow our nation a foothold in oil supply.

My government also insisted that my nation offers its deepest apologies for the treatment of Kion Pol at the economic summit, and we hope that will not effect your decision

We have begun construction on a new oil derrick about 10 nautical miles away from the shores of Principe. If you aid in the construction of that oil derrick by helping us build it this arrangment can continue.

Representative Kion Pol has not reported any issues to the Dynasty.

We shall dispatch workers and materials immediately. They shall be arriving via a small naval convoy accompanied by a type 23 frigate. This is simply for security reasons as, although by sea is far safer than land at the moment, there have several incidents involving armed pirates, do not assume hostilities.

The apology is in place to compensate your nation if you receive distressing news from the trade summit and we are unaware of this. It has happened before with other nations so we just like to set up that safety net in case of the worst. Do not take it as an admittance of guilt to any crime.

The United Kingdom of Portugal, Brazil, and the Algarves would like to know exactly where the Dynasty is drilling. Sao Tome and Principe are our territory and you may very well be within our economic exclusion zone. If this is the case some agreement will have to be reached.

Confidential company details cannot be extracted from a company without a court case. If you wish to discover the exact locations of the drills you will have to plea your case in a Dynasty Court and win that case to have access to such files.

The fourth drill has been built, begun drilling and has been given to the Velucian Imperial Domain as was agreed.

The United Kingdom will be dispatching a carrier group to the area, any oil rigs found within our economic exclusion zone will be destroyed. We attempted to be peaceable with the dynasty and asked to talk about this. Instead of using diplomatic means the Dynasty choose to demand a court case in their courts, not a neutral location. If the Dynasty would like to be more forthcoming and avoid loss of lives and profits we remain open to discussion.

Instead of threatening with military action the United Kingdom could have just asked for a neutral court to moderate the proceedings. The United Kingdom is slowly becoming a Warmonger by immediately throwing away diplomacy in favour of militaristic action. There was no demand for proceedings in a Dynasty Court it was the only viable place to go at the time as The Dynasty won't propose a foreign court without your approval. If you want change you could ask for it instead of threatening to kill innocents from 2 seperate nations because of your own stubbornness to respond diplomatically.

The fact that you believe a Dynasty Court doesn't serve to protect the law but corporations is highly offensive and we demand an apology for such an accusation.

If the United Kingdom destroys any oil rig they will face a condemnation from the Dynasty and will be breaking various United Nations charters that protect civilians. Please do not genocide civilians from 2 different countries, diplomacy is better. I trust you will revert to diplomacy instead of  violence. If you were truly attempting to be peaceful with the Dynasty you wouldn't revert to your military when something didn't go your way
.

No military ships from The Royal Defense Forces are dispatched.

The Prussian Empire would like to open the Reichstag's floor to a law hearing regarding the deployment of drilling operations in the area. The hearing will be conducted by a private, unaffiliated judge.
