Invasion of Queensland
« on: January 17, 2016, 07:27:29 pm »
The Celatoroan Expedition Army arrives on the northern shore of Queensland and start spreading the word of the occupation. Not many tribes resist, due to the weaponry the soldiers carry. Success is carried through Queensland, until soldiers come across an armed militia in Mackay. Captain Alterbarry reports to General Shall, and he is ordered to stand his ground for reinforcements. Most soldiers are spread across Queensland, and are forcing tribes out of Queensland, or shooting them. A group comes across a large community that is run by former Indonesian refugees from the Oceanic War. They shoot the soldiers after seeing the flag, and no one knows what happened the soldiers.
Sincerely,
Prime Minister Andrew Fest
Leader of The United Kingdom of Celatoro
Port Moresby, Celatoro

The Belkan transport wing has taken off with a destination in Australia. They send a message to Celatro to stop killing the tribesman or they may have to open fire upon arrival. We wish for a ceasefire, for our two nations to discuss the matter of these natives before anything rash begins. We do not wish to use force, but are ready to defend invaded people.

Parliament refuses, and prepares the army for war. F-16s are scrambled to intercept Balkan aircraft, and to tell them to return to the Balkan States.

The Dynasty of Esterfort will aid Celatoro if The Balkan States interfere with Celatoro's matters.

The Alliance offers naval support in light of the precarious situation the Belkan States' navy is currently in.

Jets target naval docks of the French, and destroy one of the docks, and damage two.

The belkan transports continue on their way but split into three flights of three transports each, going to North, South and Central Queensland. In light of foreign craft appearing on radar MIG-31 interceptors are scrambled at more than 2x the speed of sound to keep the transports safe. The belkan states would once again wish to tell all nations involved that conflict is neither required nor wanted. We simply want to keep the tribesman safe. We ask that there is no fighting while we work out a peaceful resolution between the natives and Celatoro.

Parliament again refuses, stating that Queensland was the territory of Australia, and then Celatoro before the tribes relocated. The F-16s engage in combat with the M-28s.

The jets are happily shot at by Alliance AA defenses when they attack. Several are sure to have been destroyed. Most of the docks are, upon closer investigation, barely damaged at all. The solid concrete structures were virtually undamaged by the vague jet attack.

The Alliance Navy has deployed a large battlegroup to the Indian Ocean. In spite of the unprovoked attack by Celatoroan military, no other action will be taken at the moment.

Celatoro, realizing the Alliance's might, requests them to stand down, and to leave the affair be.

The Alliance fleet will remain in the Indian Ocean to monitor the affair. IFX-25 fighter aircraft will fly constant patrol over the fleet. Submarines are forming a perimeter a distance from the primary fleet.

The carriers are prepared to launch their remaining aircraft, and the remainder of the ships are prepared for combat.

Howitzers recently purchased from the French were deployed in Port Moresby, watching the skies for Belkan aircraft. Meanwhile, after heavy fighting in Mackay, it is taken by the Celatoroan Expeditionary Force. The C.A. (Celatoroan Army) deploys in Queensland, preparing for a bloodbath. All tribes have either been exterminated, incorporated into Celatoro, or been forced out of Queensland.

In Dinsmark, the capital of Belka, the command for foreign operations sees missiles launched at our Mig-31's by Caletoro fighters. While he knows the speed and armament of the MIG-31 can keep them safe he is shocked by the sudden turn of events. He quickly relays this information to the Chief Generals. They then issue a statement as a group, "The nation of Celatoro has fired upon our escort craft. This attack was unprovoked as they were simply escorting transports into the region to maintain peace. The objective was to set up a safe zone for the Queensland tribesman that were being eradicated. Belka wished to protect them, and then safely remove them from the area with the transports. This recent response from the Celatoro nation is being taken as a miscommunicated accident, as we do not wish for war. We have given our craft the order to hold fire. Should you attack us again we cannot be so restrained. So, we tell you once again, let us land and escort the native people or we will use force to defend them." As the transmission ends an AWACS along with a flight of 3 EA-6B and 5 F-15S/MTD followed by another four C-5 transports all inbound to the Australian Crisis.

On international television, the Secretary of State makes a speech. "We have indeed fired upon transports, under the miscommunication that they were there to use force upon our nation. But, we shall no longer tolerate Belkan aircraft within our airspace, as they flew over Northern Territory, which is our land by conformation of the World Assembly [I am just referring to Portugal, Brazil, and the Algarves]. In the matter of a few hours, or maybe a few days, Queensland will be incorporated into Celatoro. They have that amount of time to get the remaining tribes out of Queensland. If they do not meet this deadline, and is still in our airspace, and on our land, they will be shot down, and any Belkan personal will be shot on sight. Those are the terms we have decided to give Belka. They have 2 days."
