Declaration of War: Lapland, Kalmar
« on: January 20, 2016, 12:30:30 am »
After the recent oil  rig and airplane disasters were linked to Kalmar Extremists stationed in the Lapland region of West Kalmar,
The leaders of Domount have made there decision...

The supreme commander of the Supreme Dictatorship of Domount went on live international news today saying: "These tentions have gone too far... For the protection of the Motherland and will of the people, to let my citizens be safe, I am declaring war on West Kalmar. Our first battalion comprising of 1,000 men shall invade the Lapland region where the extremists are thought to be stationed. Get ready Kalmar, because this is war..."

The comander stands up and walks away...

We are warning you to stop this invasion. We will provide non-lethal military support, but remember, if you shoot down any planes dropping food or supplies, or kill military officials, then we will declare war.
Sincerely,
Prime Minister Andrew Fest

Support and military officials of your nation shall not be shot down or killed, this is simply an invasion to track down the terrorists, we will only open fire if we are fired upon first.

It is strange that you are calling an official nation "terrorists".

The Prussian Empire urges you to stop this invasion. You are invading a sovereign nation to capture or kill perhaps 100 - 500 people, hardly a matter worth going to war over. Should any civilians be harmed at the hands of Domount's forces, there will be consequences.

I recommend that you stand down and ask for the West Kalmar's permission to send only 400 troops in to eradicate the terrorists.
Sincerely,

Due to recent events we strongly encourage countries not to wage war with one another. Kalmar must know of this before any action can be taken, I suggest you stand your ground and wait for the country's response lest it will be considered an invasion.

c

Perhaps you are correct,
The invasion is being called off until more proof is gathered of the exmists and until West Kalmar responds to our claims of terrorism,
The first battalion has been ordered to return home,
The invasion is canceled

The Western Commonwealth urges Domount to not proceed with this invasion. Invading a country just to get to terrorists is a bad reason to invade. We would like to advise that Domount to help Kalmar defeat their terrorists. Invading Kalmar will only cause more problems and lead to more bad times.
Sincerely,
Supreme Chancellor Frank Underwood
Supreme Chancellor of The Western Commonwealth
Guardian of the West

The Imperial Dominion would erges you not to issue direct military action against a sovereign nation that itself has done no wrong. I would like to say, however, that if civilians have been put in the firing lines then I will support the Prussian statement that there will be severe consequences.

PM Eric Combs joins in the chorus for calm and thanks the government of Domount for its restraint. Terrorism is a major issue and all sides need to target it and remove it wherever these insurgents pop up there heads.

[Its just late calls for calm, he didn't say that he was cancelling it just postponing it until new information comes in]
