The War on Terror was and is a expensive endeavour that ultimately ruined many countries. The roughly 1.6 trillion  spent by the US hasn't shown much reward apart from a rising debt and deficit.

It may have been expensive and dragged out, but I still applaud that he wanted to avenge the deaths of those innocents.

How many more civilians have to be killed by our War on Terror to avenge the victims of 9/11? Is it just to kill civilians to avenge the deaths of our civilians?
