AM64 Predator AMPR
Overview:
Only just introduced as the very latest in Amore's extensive catalog of firearms, the Predator AMPR (Advanced Multi-Purpose Rifle) is one of the most advanced handheld weapons currently in the VSOP's possession. Designed as the ultimate all-in-one service rifle for universal usage, the Predator rifle seamlessly blends the roles of assault carbine, battle rifle, and DMR into one single mercilessly efficient package. Utilizing a wide host of novel technologies, the Predator seamlessly fills the roles of a multitude of former weapons with out sacrificing the individual strengths of each classification. Most notably, the Predator is equipped with a telescopic barrel; in each of its three configurations, it adjusts to 40, 50, and 60 centimeters in length, altering the accuracy to whichever level the wielder sees as appropriate. In addition, a few other factors are adjusted when switching the gun between roles; the firing mode switches from automatic, to three-round bursts, to semi-automatic, and the innovative scope transforms from holographic reflex sight, to a 1.8x scope, to a 3.6x scope. Compatible with every Amore-manufactured auxiliary weapon attachments, the Predator AMPR's sheer versatility is anticipated to further streamline the VSOP's already razor-sharp combat operations.

AM72 Sylvern APSR
Overview:
Currently the predominant weapon of choice for VSOP snipers and long-range marksmen alike, the Sylvern Anti-Personnel Sniper Rifle is a vicious and lethal method for killing at ranges exceeding two kilometers in distance, far outstripping previous models in sheer range and accuracy. Of the numerous technological innovations incorporated into its design, nearly all are to supplement its precision to legendary levels, to the point that most--albeit highly-trained--operators are capable of accurate shooting at distances approaching the maximum effective range of the projectile itself. Using a linear magnetic acceleration system, otherwise known as a coilgun, in lieu of traditional propellant charges, the Sylvern achieves a smoother, more controllable acceleration along its entire barrel length. The scope, capable of zooming up to 60x magnification, is equipped with automatic zeroing and a highly sophisticated, extremely powerful tracking and aim assistance suite. The receiver itself is of a fairly unique design; because of its coilgun assembly, ammunition magazines can be loaded both in front of the trigger and behind it, in the stock, depending on the situation (shorter-range tactical vs longer-range protracted).

AM48 Wasp PDW
Overview:
Only recently introduced into the VSOP inventory of firearms, the Wasp soon earned a fine reputation for itself as a light, ergonomic, compact, and vicious little PDW now favored highly by the VSOP's urban and close-quarters operators. Designed with a slick exterior, an innovative UI, and several advanced technological tricks hidden beneath its aesthetically pleasing shell. Among these include a parallel magazine to maximize space efficiency and a powerful FFI targeting suite capable of identifying and tracking targets while avoiding noncombatants. When equipped with heavier bullets, it owes itself very well to an integrated suppressor, perfect for stealthy CQB operations.

AM56 Vanguard Shotgun
Overview:
Easily the first pick for any Urban CQB specialist, the hefty and powerful Vanguard shotgun dominates combat at short and moderate ranges, decimating enemies in tightly packed indoor scenarios. Packing a massive 20mm caliber bore, the Vanguard is renowned first and foremost for its legendary stopping power, blasting unarmored targets into a bloody pulp, and even taking down heavier opponents with but a few shots in rapid succession. Combining a dense, hardy, old-fashioned frame with a host of more recent innovations, the Vanguard's capabilities are nigh-unmatched in warfare. The large bore diameter allows for the use of larger, more powerful shells, as well as the various exotic types of ammunition that tend to occupy larger shell calibers. Spring dampeners help to absorb some of the substantial recoil that results from a weapon so powerful, detachable tubular magazines allow for reloading more efficient than the one-at-a-time method common in older shotguns, yet are less bulky than shell drums (though it is capable of accommodating both), and an electronic action allows for rapid semi-automatic fire that does not rely on the more capricious nature of shot shell recoil.

AM24 Apex 10mm Pistol
Overview:
Long the irreplaceable mainstay of VSOP personnel, the AM24 Apex semi-automatic pistol is probably the most recognizable and ubiquitous weapon in their entire arsenal. Though the 10 millimeter caliber is often paired with the model name in both common and military parlance, in reality the AM24 is not a singular model of pistol; it is instead a generalized pistol receiver design created with the express purpose of manufacturing modularity. In actuality, AM24 receivers can be chambered for calibers ranging from 7mm to 13mm in diameter. This, however, only scratches the surface of the Apex's customizability; Picatinny rails aside, the AM24 can be ordered to come with a multitude of functions integrated into the frame, including sights, scopes, lasers, flashlights, targeting suites, and even retractable suppressors. The novel methods and meticulous attention to detail that contributed to this pistol's design ensured not only its versatility, but its reliability and ergonomics as well. The AM24 is also famous for its durability, surviving the harshest of conditions without any degradation to its performance.

ARES R9 Diamondback Revolver
Overview:
The ARES R9 Diamondback is probably one of the most infamous "handguns" in the entirety of the VSOP's arsenal. Formerly produced by the now-defunct ARES Armaments, now manufactured by Amore Incorporated, the Diamondback has built itself a well-deserved reputation for nigh-unusability amongst VSOP personnel; given its preposterous weight, its classification as a handgun is already of a dubious nature, and that is without factoring its various other traits, all of which contribute to its nickname as "the Fingerbreaker". First and foremost, it is not a conventional firearm; instead of using propellant-based rounds, it is loaded with solid slugs. This allows for it to fire very heavy rounds at extremely high muzzle velocities, resulting not only in notoriously overpowered shots, but massive recoil as well. As such, it has only found a small niche use amongst VSOP wielders wearing powered armor that can supplement their strength enough to handle the gun's ridiculous weight and kickback.

-Manufacturer Amore Incorporated, formerly ARES Armaments
-Length 480 mm

AM07 Reaper Compound Bow
Overview:
Though serving an admittedly niche role amongst VSOP personnel, the Reaper Compound Bow is a lethal and versatile weapon for those operating under the pretense of stealth. Though the weapon concept itself has existed for many millennia, the Reaper is no relic of the past; constructed using specially-formulated compounds and precision-engineered components, this weapon of silent destruction is capable of firing arrows at effective lethal ranges of over 350 meters, with accuracies to match provided that the arrows are equipped with correction-capable fletching and homing capabilities, as they typically are. To handle a wide array of situations, the Reaper often comes equipped with a variety of arrowheads, ranging from broadhead to explosive to gas, to be used in conjunction with a special quiver. Though specialized training is required to utilize this weapon to its fullest extent, since its introduction it has become a favorite amongst the higher echelons of VSOP specialists.
