Roman Conquest
« on: January 18, 2016, 05:26:14 pm »
A chain of islands on africas west coast being incoperated into Rome.

Four Gallia class cruisers are sent to finalize things, the population on the islands is unarmed, and without military, they will be peacefully occupied unless resistance is to start, however this is unlikely.

The ships arrive, Marines secure government buildings with little trouble, these islands have no military forces. four Helicopters scout out the land, for now Marines will act as a peace force.

Several thousand nationalists begin demanding the withdrawal of Roman Forces. Chanting loudly in Spanish in front of government buildings.

They're called Cape Verde

EDIT: I think that Cape Verde might be further south, those are probably Canary Islands

Also they speak english there

Not really, i have enough warships in the area to flatten the islands, and they carry helicopters and marines, and way more than i need for that purpose.
