Bavaria has been struck with shock as on live television, King Wilhelm of Bavaria was shot. Bavaria has fallen into panicked anarchy, as it has no leader. King Wilhelm has been killed and Prince Robert has mysteriously disappeared.
-
Belka is in shock as they watch the news unravel. The government would like to help... but seeing as there is no government to help they sit back and hope for the best.
-
The Dynasty fully condemns any foreign inffluence into the country as the country should be able to deal with its own issues. A country that falls into anarchy becasue of the murder of a autocrat or that country's leader is not a country worth saving considering its poor governance efforts.
-
200 Rangers air drop into the city. Andrew Fest is shocked with Belka and the Dynasty for not lending support, for the country has no leader and people would die quickly. The Rangers were equipped with shotguns loaded with electroshock shells [electric shotgun shells, not lethal]. The Rangers were solely there to keep the peace, and to prevent loss of life.
-
A division of Berlin's extensive police department is sent into Bavaria to help keep the peace.
-
[I'm gonna create a topic in International Incidents]
-
While Bavaria is in Anarchy the Third and Fourth Panzer division along with the second SturmGrouppe Legion are to secure lower Bavaria, aproxomently 15 km of disputed land will be secured by the military.
-
Belka does not wish to get involved with the Bavaria situation, but reporters question the Romans if this move is a land grab, or to help bavaria.
-
Quite clearly a land grab.
-
We hope that no more military action will be taken upon this weak and chaotic country. At the moment, with all the riots, there is no way for them to defend themselves.
-
These Lands have been disputed ever since the fall of the Holy Roman Empire, they are rightfuly part of the Austrian government, and Austria is a part of the Roman Republic, it has been determined that taking these lands at this time will advert war, a peaceful solution.
-
70,000 Alliance Army troops march across the border into Bavaria. The region will be stabilized by force and annexed into the Alliance for the good of the people. Order will be restored.
-
The Roman Republic hopes that the French troops respect the Austrian Claim, and do not march further than said claim.
-
***news report from bavaria*** as you can see and as the reports have said, both french and roman troops have crossed Bavaria's Southern border. They both intend to claim land for their respected nation. To the North Prussia is trying to police the nation and keep it safe.
-
The portions of Bavaria Rome claims will be ignored so long as Roman troops do not interfere with the Alliance Army.
An additional 8,000 Alliance Foreign Legion troops have been deployed across the Bavarian border to bolster the Alliance Army troops.
-
The Prussian Government, at the request of Kaiser Manfred Von Richthofen, would like to ask that once Bavaria is stabilized, all areas with the exception of the Austrian claim be granted to Prussia. The Prussian Government is more than willing to compensate the Alliance for this land, along with the small portions of Western Germany that were granted to them following the land trade with the Lesser German States.
-
The fate of Bavaria will be decided after it has been stabilized by Alliance forces. I would recommend pulling your police from the territory, for their safety. There will be bloodshed. Order will be restored, for the people.
Ad Ordine Libertas.
-
The Police and Mechanized Infantry Company pull back, waiting at the border to prevent any bloodshed from spilling into Prussian lands.
-
***news report***It now seems that Prussia wants to take land from Bavaria too. This seems like the end of the European nation...
-
Munich
The citizens started to open fire on the police with their Heckler & Koch USPs, Heckler and Koch G36s, and other weaponry.
Among the fighting citizens and police, a group of well-uniformed men, around 100 of them, were marching with waving Prussian flags. The front line of the marching men were gunning down citizens who stood in their way, who fired back with equal firepower. A truck with a man shouting in German into a speaker was in the middle of the marching men. The truck was heading towards the Marienplatz.
On the other side was a group of 150 Bavarian soldiers, gunning down all citizens with weapons and pulling back any women and children to safety. A Leopard tank rolled along with the 150 soldiers. The Bavarian soldiers were marching towards the Marienplatz as well, adjacent from the other force of men waving the Nazi flags. The Leopard pointed its large weapon at the Prussian men and fired a round. The round didn't hit the truck, but continued on and hit a building at the far end of the road the truck was driving away from.
-
[can we decide between here and the international incident page of this, as in which one the events will happen in]
-
Alliance troops march through the streets of Munich, easily reached so quickly. Armed citizenry and police are shot on sight, both equally criminal in the eyes of the Alliance government.
[This one. This is where it started, this is where it will end.]
-
[All right, lets do it here.]
-
The police in utter confusion, are gunned down, as well as the citizens. The Bavarian soldiers see Frenchmen entering the square and are furious, but they do not fire at them.
The citizens start to clear out. The tank is reloaded and fires another round at the truck. The truck explodes in a ball of fire, sending the soldiers marching around it into immediate doom.
-
Rangers see Alliance soldiers, and unaware that the other nation's forces were moving in, contacted General Shall, who asked Parliament to raise the country to DEFCON 4, which Parliament does.
[DEFCON 1 means war, DEFCON 2 means imminent war, DEFCON 3 means close to war, DEFCON 4 means possibility of war, and DEFCON 5 is peace.
-
One of the Rangers yells out to the Alliance's soldiers, "Hey! This is war torn country, and here you are tearing it further? This isn't like Queensland, because this is national land!"
-
Dynasty News stations pick up the events providing humor for the millions of Dynasty members watching. They have never experienced such a dysfunctional government. It humors them the state cannot provide for its people.
-
Hundreds of Alliance infantrymen march into the square, spreading out and surrounding the Bavarians. An officer steps forward. "You stand in defense of a fallen government. The Alliance will annex this region and order will be restored. You either stand in favor of that goal or against it. Only one will see you live to the end of this day. Choose wisely."
Dozens of anti-tank rocket launchers are prepared should the Bavarians make the wrong choice.
-
The soldiers are all circling the tank, guns pointed at the Frenchmen. One of the soldiers gets on top of the tank and opens the lid. He speaks in rapid-pace German with the men inside the tank.
The Bavarian got off the tank. A man wearing what seemed to be a general's uniform climbs out of the tank, a look of defeat on his face.
He'd have his white handkerchief in his left hand, holding it up.
-
Rangers retreat to the general, for the riot has gotten out of hand. Thousands of citizens with weapons has gunned down 12 Rangers, and wounding 7. No one knew what happened to 4 of them.
-
The Alliance officer smiles. "A wise choice. Lay down your weapons. Form up in the middle of the square. You will be rewarded for your service and cooperation." Alliance troops fan out across the square. The Bavarians are watched carefully as troops boot down doors and clear the buildings around the square.
Alliance soldiers have formed cordons around the square. Roadblocks enforced by infantrymen and heavy machine guns guard the square from rioters. Armed citizenry are still being shot on sight.
-
***news report*** we r back, the french seem to have surrounded the bavarians. Annnddd the hatch is opening... IT SEEMS TO BE A BAVARIAN GENERAL! I repeat this may be like what Belka did recently, albeit this attempt has most certainly failed.
-
The rest of the tank crew get out. The Bavarians form up in a group. They all were watching the Frenchmen and were talking quietly amongst themselves. Their weapons were laid by the tank. The general still had his ceremonial weapon strapped to his side, but the ammo pouch for it was ripped and empty.
(I have an edgy feeling there's gonna be a genocide.)
-
The Rangers that had retreated to the general dropped their shotguns, and put their hands up.
-
the Panzer Divisions storm down the Road entering Bavaria, aproxomently 600 tanks are present, along with the 3rd army, who has around 15,000 Land Troops, the neuschwanstein castle is occupied, the army will end its march at the Mountain Range just past the castle
(http://i.imgur.com/MyivnO9.jpg?1)
-
***news report*** There are also Celatoro rangers here. A lot, I might add, and they have surrendered to the French troops who have stripped them and the Bavarians of weapons.
-
[yea, but considerinv everything thats a fair amount, and so what if news "exaggerates" a bit]
-
The Neuschwanstein Royal Guard lay down their arms and let the Romans occupy the castle.
-
The Bavarian troops are formed up separately from the Celatoroan Rangers. Before the Celatoroans can resist, they are all handcuffed and put onto the ground by Alliance Legionnaires. Any resistance will be met with a swift execution. The Alliance officer in command of the advanced force, a Colonel, walks over to the Bavarian General.
"Your service is respected sir, and you have done well in defending Munich. Neither you nor your men will see ant punishment from Alliance forces. I do, however, give you an offer. You and your men have the opportunity to emlist in the Alliance Army right now. If so, you will all be granted rank and will assist in the Alliance securing of Bavaria. If you refuse, you will be detained until the annexation is complete. At which point, you will be released to resume civilian lives."
-
A Ranger yells at the officer, "We are only providing safety for the citizens and the OFFICIAL government of this nation! We have no business with you Frenchman, and most of us would love to leave Munich, and with our gear at this point."
-
The Bavarian General thinks. He was old and had a bushy beard, of which he was rubbing in thought.
"My boys were planning to fire at you. They will not want to join your army. And I...I'm not doing to either. I'm too old for this crap. But if you will allow me, I will let my boys down easy on the situation. To prevent their deaths." The general explained.
Elsewhere
Many Bavarian soldiers have fleed to the Prussia. They seem to be grouping together and heading towards Berlin. They are not armed, but wore dirty and bloody warfare uniforms. They seem to be led by two men. One is the Royal Advisor to the Once-King of Bavaria and the other is the Feldmarshall of the army, Friedrich Drexelhaufen. The soldiers were in the thousands, walking down the road in silence and in a worn out state.
-
***news report*** And the Celatoro got seperated from the Bavarians. The rangers just got shoved to the ground, we r going to back up, this dosnt feel safe. Some words r being exchanged but I cant hear them at all. We now hear yelling from a ranger. something about the official government... and, and leave! what is going on!?
-
The Colonel ignores the Celatoroan.
Instead, an Alliance Lieutenant walks over to where the Legionnaires hold the Rangers. "As of now, the government you support is dissolved. The Alliance government is now the official government of this state within the Alliance. Your business will be with whoever you are told your business will be with so long as you are in our borders. You will shortly be deported from our country. Your weapons will remain behind."
The Colonel nods. "I respect your choice. You will all be detained. You will not be allowed to speak to your men." The Colonel turns, and after several hand signals to junior officers, Alliance Army troops seize the Bavarian soldiers, restraining them and forcing them to the ground as was done to the Celatoroans. The Colonel turns around to watch as a pair of soldiers do the same to the General. "After Munich is secure, you and your men will be moved to a temporary holding facility until the annexation is complete."
-
The thousands of refugees are met with a large group of military medics, airlift helicopters, and a large military facility on the road to Berlin. They are taken in by the Prussian Bundeswehr and any wounds are treated, food is handed out, and clean clothes and hot showers are provided.
-
***news report*** more talking is ha... and the Bavarian men just got thrown to the ground... something is up in Bavaria and I don't like it
-
The general appreciated the nicer seizure he was given compared to his men. "Whatever," he mumbled.
Road to Berlin
The Royal Advisor has been asking around for a representative to speak to as the soldiers are tended to. The Feldmarshall follows the Advisor, silent.
-
The Ranger continues to yell at the officer about the detainment of the Rangers. He quickly moves up and grabs a gun from an Alliance soldier.
-
The Celatoroan apparently has magical powers since he was restrained and being held by two Alliance Legionnaires and still managed to grab a soldier's gun. These magical abilities make the man extremely dangerous. As such, the Alliance Lieutenant draws his sidearm and shoots him in the head.
-
[Sorry, I tried to post that but someone else posted before me so I had to try to post again.]
The Ranger drops to the ground dead. An uproar is caused between the Rangers, and they all yell.
-
The general frowns at the lieutenant who flawlessly lodged a bullet in the skull of the Ranger.
"Barbarians," he would mumble in German.
The Bavarian soldiers start to get a little uncomfortable as well, but did not resist despite their cussing at the Frenchmen.
-
***news report*** *BANG* The French Lieutenant just shot a celatoro soldier in the head as he tried to get away. (to cameraman) we need to get out of here, this isnt safe...
-
The Royal Adviser is soon met by General Heinrich Rommel, UberKommandant of the Prussian Mechanized Guard.
"You have my condolences, Adviser. The events in Bavaria are absolutely horrendous."
-
The Alliance Legionnaires all release the Rangers and step back, rifles held at the ready. About 400 Legionnaires form a cordon around the Rangers. The Lieutenant simply watches. Several Rangers being particularly loud receive rifle butts to the face from nearby Legionnaires.
-
***news report*** (cameraman) No, ill keep u safe, keep going (reporter) ... fine... o. o god, The French troops are now beating the restrained rangers... I can barely keep myself to report this
-
The Secretary of State is watching the news when the Queensland News interrupts his show of Fork Man.
BREAKING NEWS:
A reporter starts talking, "Footage received from an anonymous citizen in Munich, Bavaria shows a French Lieutenant shoot a Celatoroan Ranger. How Secretary of State Joe Biden [I know, I know] will respond to this is still unknown."
The Secretary jumps out of his chair, puts on some pants, and drives from his home of Gold Coast to Brisbane to speak with the President, because the Prime Minister was in the Commonwealth.
-
The President issues a speech during a emergency Parliament meeting, and it is a 72 to 28 vote to raise the DEFCON to DEFCON 2.
-
[btw the Eurasian communication Network broadcasts to all nations, so anyone can watch/listen to it]
-
[Oh ok, but breaking news reports are only authorized in Celatoro.]
-
The Feldmarshall's face reddened.
"HORRENDOUS?" his voice boomed, quieting down nearby medics and soldiers who looked over at him. "Those dirty French are treating my men like animals!"
The Advisor laid his old hand on the shoulder of the angry Feldmarshall. The advisor was 78. He had once-blonde grey hair and blue eyes. "Friedrich, please. Go look after your men," He said in a calm voice.
The Feldmarshall glared at the Advisor and back at the General. He pivoted on his heel and stormed off.
The Advisor looked back at Heinrich with kind eyes.
"Apologies. Friedrich has a large heart. Especially when it comes to treating his soldiers with respect," He said, leaning on his cane.
-
***news report*** Let it also be known that we have breaking new, Celatoro has moved to DEFCON 2
-
"I understand that." Heinrich says, sighing. "The Kaiser had originally wished to march the Bundeswehr in and secure the area, but the French beat us to it. I wish there was something I could do, but I've got my hands tied."
-
General Shall arrives at Mackenzie Airfield in the middle of Siberia, and readies the 10,000 troops stationed there. He also scrambles F-22 Interceptor jets to clear the skies over Munich, whether by force or choice.
-
[how the heck did u get into Siberia lol]
-
The Advisor's expression hardened.
"The French occupation will be a burden on the history of the Germans," He said with anger.
"But that isn't what the problem is. The problem is that Prince Regent Robert has disappeared. His last appearance was at Munich Airport getting aboard a public plane, still wearing his royal clothing. Very strange. We believe he has fled in grief. We also speculate that he has fled to Canada. Where is unknown, but he has found a recent fondness of Nunavut as a vacation spot," the Advisor explained.
-
Alliance transport trucks roll into the square. All of the Celatoroan Rangers are quickly loaded into the trucks and are taken away from the city. VBL armored cars join the convoy the moment it leaves the square to escort it to a secure nearby airfield where the Ranger will be loaded onto a plane and sent back to their country. The body of the executed Ranger is being sent back as well.
A similar convoy comes for the Bavarian troops. They are carried to a hotel in Munich well secured by Alliance troops. There they will stay until the annexation is complete. They are unrestrained and free to roam the hotel at will, but are not permitted to leave.
Alliance troops continue to march through Munich. Armored columns roll through the city's streets, some having already exited the other side and rolling across the rest of Bavaria.
Alliance IFX-25 Fighters have the airspace over Munich closed. No outside aircraft are permitted. Celatoroan aircraft would be wise to heed the closed airspace and stay out. Aster missile launchers are set up in secured Bavarian territory. Breaches of Alliance airspace will not be tolerated.
-
The F-22s head back to Mackenzie Airfield, not looking to start a war on that day.
-
That's how the Alliance suspected the Celatoroan aircraft would respond.
-
"Nunavut?" Heinrich asks. "I can have a few representatives go to Canada to look for him, then bring him back to Konigsburg."
-
"Hmm..." the Advisor thought.
"Maybe I should go with them. Robert may be in a state of shocked grief after he hears the news of Wilhelm's death. He loved his brother very much. Took a bullet for him once. A Royal Guard tried to assassinate Wilhelm but Robert got in the way." The Advisor ranted.
-
The reporters then wrap it up quickly and begin to leave Munich, althought they have a tough time deciding whether to go to France, as it is a a Belkan ally, or Prussia, after witnessing the brutality.
-
"Very well, I'll have a helicopter take you to Konigsburg where you'll meet with the Prussian Representative."
-
B-2 stealth bombers are instead launched, and jam any air detecting radar. They start flying to Munich to find out the situation. Back at Brisbane, the Secretary of State was getting worried, because there had been no more action heard from the French.
-
After watching the recent events unfold back home, The Free Belkan States are in an uproar. Generallisimo Hentill is just happy he decided to not get involved, unlike the Celatoros
-
The Celatoro bombers surely had to take a Far Northernly route so that they didnt run into the Belkan planes over Russia of course.
-
The Dynasty of Esterfort would like Belkan States to refrain from negatively commenting on one of our allies actions.
-
The Prussian Passive Radar Arrays in Ukraine and Poland are jammed for some strange reason, so 12 ME-35 Interceptors are dispatched and begin scanning the rather small area of radar-blackout. They rather quickly find the aircraft that are making a massive hole in the Prussian Air Defense Detection Grid. The leader of the fighter wing sends out a radio message to the B-2s. "What exactly are you doing flying strategic bombers over Prussian Airspace?"
-
"Thank you," The Advisor said.
-
The jamming in itself is an obvious sign of Alliance airspace being breached. Dozens of IFX-25 fighters scour the skies over Munich and surrounding areas. Large, slow B-2 bombers are easily detected once the fighters get close enough for their radars to burn through the jamming. Once detected, the task of getting rid of the bombers is as simple as a couple bursts of 25mm cannon fire.
An announcement from the Alliance Ministry of Foreign Affairs: The Celatoroan Rangers detained in Munich were aboard a civilian airliner taking them back to Celatoro. The next time Celatoro meddles in Alliance affairs, the punishment will be far worse than a single dead Ranger.
-
***news report*** we are now outside of munich, but came back as there is loud gunfire and explosions lighting up the sky, it seems like there is an airraid... oh god, one is right above us, JIM MOVE THIS VAN NOW!
-
A Blackhawk Helicopter lands in the large field hospital, bearing Colonel Hans Landa. He steps off, walking over to the Royal Adviser. "A pleasure, Mister Adviser. Colonel Hans Landa."
-
"I've heard of you," The Advisor says, holding his hand out to shake.
-
Landa shakes his hand, nodding. "Shall we be off? I'll commandeer a supersonic jet to cross the Atlantic as soon as we land in Berlin."
-
One of the B-2 pilots responds to the Prussians.
"As of the moment, we are in Alliance airspace, and violating none of our terms."
Then he responds to the Frenchmen.
"You have killed one of our soldiers. If this was one of our regularly trained soldiers, then we would ask for payments for the funeral. But since the soldier in question was a Ranger, a highly trained soldier trained in all terrains and almost every weapon, we wish for compensation for the gear of all lost, payed funerals for all soldiers that died, payed medical bills in Ceris for the injured, and a public statement from the head of French military saying that a French officer murdered a Celtoroan. Also, we want the officer to be delivered in a Black Hawk to Brisbane, Celatoro. These are our terms."
-
[if no shots were fired disregard the last news report :p ] The news crew got into Prussia and boarded a plane back to Belka.
-
[So... the B-2s just teleported across all of Ukraine, Poland, Germany, Lithuania, Czechoslovakia, and Belarus? you said that they were launched from Siberia, they would need to fly through Prussian airspace at some point.]
-
"Indeed," he turned and called a soldiers name. He had his arm in a sling.
"Tell the Feldmarshall that I am off to find Robert. He'll know." the soldier walked off and the Advisor turned.
"Let us be off," he said.
(let's do this one in a different topic tomorrow)
-
Since Celatoro feels the need to have its pilots talk to our pilots instead of its government talk to our government, the requests are ignored. Celatoro has 3 minutes to remove itself from all Alliance affairs. Otherwise, war will be declared with the end result of Celatoro losing its right to possess a military.
-
[Good point, I'm not patient]
-
[im so confused right now lol, so somehow u got a base in russia, I guess that can be dealt with later, where r the bombers now? and was there conflict]
-
The B-2s break off, and head home. General Shall is notified by the pilots for the answer, and then the answer is relayed to the President. The President then tries to contact the French President, then waits for a response. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister returns from the Commonwealth.
-
A pair of F-22's go up and trail the bombers from a distance to learn of their siberian base. The pilots believe the cold air and stealth tech will keep them hidden
-
Dynasty Officials send their congratulations to The Francophone Alliance's swift capture of the anarchist country of Bavaria.
-
Alliance troops reach the farthest borders of Bavaria. The region is officially considered secure from hostile military forces. Within the new Alliance territory, martial law is declared as the threat of rioters and rebellion is still very real. It will not be long before the region is stabilized and order is restored.
