Is that a peace sign or.....
Yes its a peace sign, for the Jakarta Attacks. Similar to Paris attacks in style but not in death.
-
I don't mean to sound rude, but why are we still acting sympathetic about foreigners? Terrorism will never stop. This'll all keep happening. And the people who say they feel sympathetic are only trying to seem like good people because they have nothing else that will do so.
People die every day. By whatever cause. We don't need to constantly "pray" to people dying because of an ideology. Like, what if we prayed for every minor the Nazi's killed? That'd be a lot of **** praying. I'm just saying that we don't need to act like every terrorist attack is worth praying for. Because terrorism is an ideology. You can't defeat an ideology.

DID SOMEONE SAY DEAD TERRORISTS?

Oh ok.

Its possible to prey for a large amount of people at once.

But we don't need to EVERY time something blows up.
-
Gabe, something blows up everyday if you haven't realized yet. There's places where IEDS and mines are literally EVERYWHERE. Terrorist attacks should be highlighted no matter where they occur as their importance doesn't and shouldn't change because of localization.
The attacks where more then one person were killed and perpetrated the attack need to be highligthed because of the planning and causlities of such attacks. The attackers in Jakarta were a copycat of the Paris attackers, expcept Indonesian Police and Military is quicker then French and they have a Shoot First Policy for aggitators with guns and bombs.
-
Even if you aren't religious, praying for people shows that you support them. 9/11, UK's Queen broke law and had the USA National Anthem played at Buckingham Palace. People were praying for New York and its victims. And are the attacks in Jakarta recent? I haven't heard about them.
-
They happened yesterday, 10:55 local time.
-
Its was like the Paris Attacks.
Terrorists blew up bombs and had a shootout with the police. I believe 9 people died, including 2 civilians of which one maybe Canadian.
-
It was 7, 2 civilians (1 Indonesian 1 Canadian) and 5 attackers. They got a sixth earlier today.
-
And Gabe we should talk about the attacks because of the number of attacks. Yesterday evening in the capital of Burkina Faso ISIS affiliated terrorists raided a hotel and the siege was officially stoped 33 minutes ago. 23 confirmed dead.

America needs to get the **** over 9/11. Dragging it on is only increasing hostility towards us and towards to aggressors from us.
And I know that stuff blows up and that people die everyday. Yea, we shouls be informed.
"Oh. That happened." is what most Americans would think.
We don't need to make a national holiday like 9/11 to honor the amount of dead that died. Because in the next week from the event, two times more will die of the same and different causes.
-
So we shouldn't honor and remember the 3k ppl who died in a little over an hour in the world's 'superpower country'? And we shouldn't remeber the various historical buildings that were destroyed?
The way people think was greatly changed by 9/11. The world was majorly different before 9/11. We live in a Post-9/11 world and will continue to untill the people who experienced it firsthand pass away. Until they pass their recollections of the event will drive their thoughts. All people who witnessed the event in any shape or form were changed by it. That can't be forgotten.

We shouldn't be extremely patriotic and even worse, violent towards Muslims because of 9/11. I'm saying that America doesn't need to keep dragging on a day of grieving for only around 3,000 people.
If they do that, then we should start a grieving holiday for Ebola. For Paris. For Lebanon. For the Middle East in general.
9/11 was one of now hundreds of attacks that happen daily. Over 15 years, I would think the amount of people who died in 9/11 would double in other attacks.
-
Honoring and remembering =/= violence towards Muslims
There aren't terrorist attacks that kill 3000 ppl in under an hour in a major world city.
You don't seem to understand how many ppl 3000 ppl is.

aaaand... I regret reading the posts here now...
